Epic the musical is a musical adaptation of Homer’s Odyssey. It was released through nine different albums and two acts. It tells the story of Odysseus, a greek soldier who went to Troy to fight alongside Menelaus and Agamemnon after Helen was taken away by trojan prince, Paris. Epic starts when the war ends, ten years after it started, with Odysseus leaving Troy with his men, and ends when he finally gets back to his family in Ithaca, which took him ten years.

Epic was originally Jorge’s university senior’s thesis in 2019 but gained popularity trough tiktok in 2021 because he documented his work process. It’s also through tiktok that he found his whole cast. This project is a strictly musical concept that was never produced on stage. Tho it was animated by many different artists online.
