Odysseus finds himself stuck on Calypso's island who tries to seduce him and captures him. Meanwhile, life continues back at Ithaca, Penelope's suitors are tired of waiting, sure that Odysseus is dead. Telemachus is growing up, he fights a suitor for the pride of his dad and is brutally beaten. He meets Athena who's moved by Telemachus who reminds her of his dad and decides to take the side of Odysseus against all of the others gods thoughts and requests a divine intervention.
